INFOTAIN LTD. is in the process of deploying a state-of-the-art platform that will connect to all four GSM providers and the PTOs as well in Nigeria so as to provide their subscribers access to its pool of content. The INFOTAIN service to subscribers of the GSM companies will receive this service on a multi mode level. In other words they will be able to access INFOTAIN services by Voice, SMS, MMS and WAP (where the mobile operator is MMS/WAP enabled)

Infotain is the resultant company from a Joint Venture between CIT (Communications and Information Technologies), a communications and IT consultancy and Tech Invest Group the umbrella company for the TELNET Group, IPNX, Interswitch and a host of other companies. The company was setup to provide Value Added Services and Wireless Application Services to Mobile Networks and PTOs.

Infotain aggregates content and deploy the platforms to provision such content through Content Download Platforms, SMS and WAP Gateways, Voice Browsers, and other equipment to deliver and sustain such content.

All these companies are independent companies with their own management and ownership structure.
